Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
Travel and Ground Transport

(Phoenix, Arizona - AZ, USA)

Phoenix International Airport (PHX) is busy all through the year and has more than enough ground transport in place to meet arriving passengers.

Serving Phoenix and southern Arizonan destinations such as Prescott (north), and both San Tan Valley and Tucson (south), the travel options available at PHX come in the form of buses, shuttles, car hire, limos and taxi cabs - and in 2013, the PHX Sky Train will be in operation. Each terminal has an information desk and Ground Transportation Center, should you require any help in reaching your hotel or meeting venue.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses (black and silver) run every 15 minutes from 09:00 to 21:00 and less frequently during the winter, providing a simple way to reach the neighboring Metro stop at 44th Street and Washington. There are also frequent shuttles between the terminals and parking lots, as well SuperShuttle vans, where the cost of your journey is shared with the other passengers.

Taxi Cabs

By taxi transport, the journey from Phoenix Airport into the downtown district will take around 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Official PHX cabs should be used at all times and these include AAA Taxi Cabs, Apache Taxis and Mayflower Cabs. Standard rates are applied, regardless of the taxi company and driver. Surcharges for airport trips are applicable, as are minimum charges and increased rates for late-night trips.

Limousines

For a door-to-door journey in luxury, renting a limousine is likely to appeal. Available from the southern curbside of both Terminal 3 and Terminal 4, airport limos can also be collected close to Terminal 2, close to the north curb. Limo services and executive cars are provided by All Star Trans, AMP Enterprises, Black Pearl, Mechelle, Monarch and Zion.
